21-year-old Frankielen da Silva Zampoli Padilha, who was from South Brazil, died last year in October after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage. The doctors decided to save her twins - who were nine-week-old embryos at the time - after both their hearts continued beating inside Frankielen's womb.

The doctors had initially announced that there was no hope for the babies and that they won't survive. But their father described their birth a 'miracle'.
Frankielen's organs were intact and the doctors saw the twins alive with their hearts beating. It was then the doctors decided to save the unborn children and saw them grow inside their mother as normally as other kids do.

The twins were two months old when their mother died and brought to full term by the doctors. Even though the twins were born premature, they were as healthy as other preemie babies. The newborns were kept in the incubator for three months and are now being raised by Frankeilen's mother.
What an incredible story. It proves a mother's love for her kids - how even in death she protected her twins and brought them to life.
