Plants can get defensive when attacked and eaten! All vegetarians in voews!

Plants release defensive mustard oils:

As per the resources, the University of Missouri has conducted a survey on Plants and according to their research and reports, the Plants respond to the attack made towards them. Yes, you heard it right. The Researchers had discovered that the Plants can hear themselves being eaten and at such point of time they come in defensive mode. When attacked by the Caterpillar, the sound of eating them makes them more defensive.
To narrate further, the research reports that the Plants when hear the caterpillar sound, starts to release more of the mustard oils. By doing so, the caterpillar starts finding it difficult to eat the plant any more. Not only has this, the reports from the research also said that the Plants are very smart as they know when to not waste their defensive attacking capabilities. When I come to the heavy wind sounds, the plants remain neutral and do not become defensive.
Bad News for all vegetarians
People who prefer eating tasty salads must have never even thought that they need to be careful. But, these days the scientists say that if you are eating lettuce, you should be very careful as the plants actually responds you back defensively when they hear the sounds of being eaten. This could actually be a treat to the eaters’ ads. The plant will then release the defensive mustard oil which is threat to the eaters. Recently, the senior Research Scientist, Heidi Appel had said that their previous research could found out that the plants respond to acoustic energy like music around and they also respond to the relevant vibrations.
According to the statement on research from Heidi, “the Feeding vibrations signal changes in the plant cells metabolism creating more defensive chemicals that can repel attacks from caterpillars”, the research done on plants during eaten by caterpillar. Just like Caterpillar, Human can also suffer with the defensive chemicals released by the plants in attacking mode. Well this news comes in the form of bad news and can put a question to worry among Vegetarians as they eat Salad and more of green leafy vegetables in their routine diet. There is more to share about the results and reports of the researches made by the University of Missouri.
